Another Sarah Dessen book! Someone like you is a very good book, the storyline stuck with me for a very long time. The start is very sad as it's all about a death, but after that all you want is for Halley to be happy and towards the middle you start to realise that's almost impossible, with her mother as a shrink, she often rants on about how much the two of them get on, but it's very different in the eyes of Halley. This might just be what I was thinking, but all the way through the book I was literally yelling at her to stand up to her mum, she could never get a word in edgeways and it was killing me to read! I knew she would eventually though.
Then there's her new boyfried, he seems to nice at first. As they get closer and closer, she decides she won't sleep with him until he says he loves her, but as the days go on and on without any action, her new beau starts to get annoyed and that has a dramatic ending to it. In the end her best friend who's boyfriend died has a baby and names it Grace Halley.
I seriously have to say that everyone shouold read this book
